Merlot is a dark blue-colored wine grape variety that is used both as a blending grape and for monovarietal or single variety wines. Our climate is ideally for a smooth, full but elegant wine.
We notice immediately ripe fruit on the nose, many plum aromas which are also present in the mouth. Besides plums, we find aromas of milk chocolate, caramel, and blueberries. The mouth fills us with complexity achieved through the vinification and aging in a mixture of the newest and finest barrels of French and American origin. We find toasted wood sensations together with vanilla and cacao but always without masking the fruit of the grape. It has a long and full aftertaste which makes us enjoy each glass.
